El Palo 30 years ago

INTRODUCTION

I live in a small village called El Palo. It is in the east of Malaga. The village has changed a lot over the past 30 years.

BUILDINGS
 In the past there were not so many buildings as now. There used to be small houses were fishermen lived. By the Galica stream there were many orchards. The beaches didn't exist because there were not breakwaters. There was a very typical restaurant called Casa Pedro which was on the sand. Now, there are not only houses but also many buildings. The football stadium is new. There are a lot of supermarkets and shops were people can buy many things.

JOBS
People from El Palo used to work as fisherman and in the different typical restaurants called "chiringuitos". Now people work in restaurants, as waiters, as shop assistant in the differet clothes shops and in many supermasrkets.

TRANSPORTS
People used to travel from el palo to the city center by bus because there were not many cars. There was a lot of traffic because the motorway didn't exist. Now they travel by buses, cars and they also ride their bicycle to avoid pollution.

CONCLUSION
My village is now very different. In my opinion, it is much bigger, modern and more cleaner than some years ago.

THE GIRL OF THE CURVE

One cold, dark and raining night, a man was driving his car to get home. He saw a girl who was wearing a white long dress. She moved her hand, so the man stopped his car and ask her: -Do yo want to get in? The girl got into the car and the driver took her to his house. She left her scarf into the car, so the man returned to the girl's house to give her scarf. Whe he were in the door of the house, he said to the girl's parents thar their daughter left the scarf into the car, and in that moment they said to the man that their daughter was dead 5 years ago.
